Author Meets Critics: Gender and Career in Academia
Place: University of Copenhagen, Denmark
Department of Communication at University of Copenhagen invites to a debate about how gender impacts the success or lack, therefore, of scholars in Danish universities.
Occasioned by the recent publication of the book Køn og Karriere i Akademia: Bag Facaden by Margaretha Järvinen (professor of sociology, University of Copenhagen) and Nanna Mik-Meyer (professor of organization, Copenhagen Business School), the INSPIRE centre welcomes a discussion about gendered obstacles in academia.
The conversation will be moderated by Martin Fog Arndal (postdoc, UCPH) and the panel will consist of Nanna Mik-Meyer, Sabrina Ebbersmeyer (professor, UCPH), and Sandrine Rose Schiller Hansen (postdoc, UCPH).
