Gender equality Plans (GEPs) have been a policy instrument for institutional change in research organisations encouraged by the EU for over a decade.
A study was commissioned early 2022 by DG Research and Innovation to examine the impacts that EU and national policies and programmes supporting or imposing Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) in research organisation have actually had on gender equality across the European Research Area (ERA).
This event will present and discuss this study’s key research findings, good practice examples, and policy recommendations.
