NTNU was the first university in Norway to require gender equality expertise in leadership positions. This requirement has led to much attention and debate, and several other institutions are considering doing the same.

Why is gender equality expertise in leadership positions important? How can this expertise be measured and assessed?

As a part of NHH’s ongoing work to improve gender balance and gender perspectives in research, the school is organising a seminar and discussion on gender equality expertise in leadership positions. The seminar is also open for people outside of NHH, and you are specifically invited.

Professor Anna Wahl, Vice President for Gender Equality and Values, KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, will talk about gender equality expertise in leadership positions. Hilde Sandvik, Editor in Chief of Broen.xyz will lead the seminar and the panel discussion.

The seminar is also open for people outside of NHH. Please register on Thursday 4 May at the latest.
